1.      Phonological [ˌˌfän(ə)lˈäjək(ə)l]

Part of Speech : Adjective

Indonesian : Fonologis

Definition : relating to the system of contrastive relationships among the speech sounds that constitute the fundamental components of a language.

e.g “the improvements in phonological decoding were higher than would be expected”

Synonyms : Linguistic, dialec, grammaticly

 

2.      Exixstence [iɡˈzistəns]

Part of Speech : Noun

Indonesian : Adanya

Definition : the fact or state of living or having objective reality.

e.g “the plane was the oldest Boeing remaining in existence.”

Synonyms :

Alive, existing, extant, existent

 

3.      Diverge [dəˈvərj]

Part of Speech : Verb

Indonesian : Menyimpang

Definition : (of a road, route, or line) separate from another route, especially a main one, and go in a different direction.

e.g. “the flight path diverged from the original flight plan.”

Synonyms :

Separate, part, disunite, fork

 

4.      Thus [T͟Həs]

Part of Speech : Adverb

Indonesian : Dengan demikian

Definition : as a result or consequence of this; therefore.

e.g. “Burke knocked out Byrne, thus becoming champion”

Synonyms :
therefore, accordingly, hence

 

5.      Major [ˈmājər]

Part of Speech : Adjective

Indonesian : Besar

Definition : important, serious, or significant.

e.g. “the use of drugs is a major problem”

Synonyms :                   

Crucial, vital, great, considerable, paramount, utmost

 

6.      Whether [ˈ(h)weT͟Hər]

Part of Speech : Conjunction

Indonesian : Apakah

Definition : expressing a doubt or choice between alternatives.

e.g “he seemed undecided whether to go or stay”

Synonyms :

Anynow, anyway, whichever, in case

                              

7.      Throughout [THro͞oˈout]

Part of Speech : Preposition

Indonesian : Selama

Definition : in every part of (a place or object).

e.g. “the event had repercussions throughout Europe”

Synonyms :

all overall,  aroundin, every part of, all through
